Why Shopify's default template is not enough
Shopify Admin → Settings → Policies offers a one-click "create from template" privacy policy. It mentions Shopify, but not the dozens of apps you have installed (Klaviyo, Loox, Recharge, Judge.me, Vitals…) or the marketing pixels firing on your storefront. Apple, Google, and EU regulators look for that level of detail. The generator scans the integrations you tick and produces a policy that names each one.
Where to host the policy
Two options. (1) Paste the generated text into Shopify Admin → Settings → Policies — Shopify hosts it under your-store.myshopify.com/policies/privacy-policy. (2) Use the hosted URL we provide and link to it from your footer. Option 2 is better if you sell across multiple Shopify stores under one brand.
